Dr. Ismaël Maatouk is a dermatologist and global STI expert with over 15 years of clinical and public-health leadership. He led Lebanon's National STI Response, advancing HIV and STI services and improving access for marginalized communities. From 2022 to 2026, he served at the WHO in Geneva, directing global gonorrhoea resistance surveillance and supporting evidence based STI control worldwide.
